Profile picture 2 Christopher M. Ziegler, Mediator

Chris Ziegler is a 1992 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law.  His nearly thirty years of experience representing both defendants and plaintiffs provides an excellent background for his work as a mediator. Before founding a plaintiff’s personal injury practice in 2013, he was a partner at the defense firm of Gray, Rust, St. Amand, Moffett & Brieske where he handled the defense of serious injury litigation matters, including construction site accidents, vehicular accidents, premises liability and other injury matters.  Chris also worked on asbestos litigation and construction defect cases representing general and subcontractors against claims of alleged defective workmanship.  More recently, since 2013, his law practice is devoted exclusively to the representation of plaintiff clients in personal injury matters.  He has experience as lead counsel trying cases before juries in federal and state courts.  He has argued cases before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court.

Chris’s mediation training began with a week-long mediation training/certification course in 2010 and he has been mediating civil cases since that time.  He is certified to mediate court-ordered mediations.  When not in mediation as a neutral, Chris has  participated in hundreds of mediations as an attorney, representing both plaintiffs and defendants at mediation.

His office is located in Alpharetta, Georgia near the Avalon development.  Ziegler Mediation is equipped with modern professional conference rooms, but most mediations are typically held on ZOOM or at the offices of one of the representing-attorneys, insurance company conference rooms, or other location.   Chris is available to mediate at any location with no charge for travel in the Atlanta and North Atlanta area.
